Australia ETA or eVisitor is an electronic visa, introduced on 27 October 2008 by the Australian Government to speed up the visa application process. Both eVisitor and ETA Australia are electronic travel authorization documents, which allow eligible citizens to enter the country. EU citizens can apply for the eVisitor visa subclass 651, whereas the Australian ETA subclass 601 is available to 9 specified countries.
